Sári Fried Yoga
About
Sári began practicing yoga in 2012, which opened the gateway to embarking on a journey of healing and devotion. Sári has immersed herself in the traditions of yoga, Indigenous Earth wisdom, Five Element acupuncture philosophy, Vipassana Buddhist meditation, and Shamanic ceremonial plant medicine. Sári has been certified in over 500 hours of training in Toronto, India and Colorado, in the styles of Ashtanga-Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Earth Ways Yoga and the Prison Yoga Project's trauma-sensitive program. Sári weaves meditation, movement and breath into her sessions, in combination with embodied energetic healing, to allow for an alignment of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of oneself. Sári practices Bhakti yoga, the devotional path of yoga, chanting mantras while playing the harmonium to create a unifying experience of sound healing and a gentle opening of the throat chakra through the support of the spiritual heart. The depth of yogic wisdom and our inextricable connection to the natural world and all beings, have given Sári an understanding, rooted in compassion, of the human condition and what our purpose is in being here on Mother Earth; in deep gratitude, she shares these teachings.
